Mrs Death read us the story of King Arthur, then we used three
different pieces of paper and combined them to show what his castle looked
like.
I am 9 years old and I like horse riding. My favourite horse is Blue. Every time I ride him, he goes very well and tries his best.

The Pet Day Problem
Last year’s Pet Day, Jaimee had a problem. She didn’t have a pet to take to school.
The day before Pet Day, Jaimee begged and begged her mum to bring their cat, Smooch.
“No!” snapped her mum. “He will get scared and run away.”
”Well what am I going to take for Pet Day?” Jaimee said.
Her mum said, “I’ve got something in my mind.”
The next day was Pet Day. Jaimee went to school with a smile on her face because she wanted to see what her mum had brought for her pet.
In the morning, people brought their lambs, calves, goats, cats, ponies, horses, and even slugs.
In the afternoon, Jaimee’s mum brought a puppy to school named Harry. He was black and white with grey spots on his little puppy feet.
”I told you I would bring something.”
When it was time to walk the dogs around, Harry trotted around the children.
When he had trotted around all the children, he barked at one of her friends like this, “Ruff.’’
“Thank you, thank you,” Jaimee said.
”You're welcome,“ Jaimee’s mum said.
After Pet Day had finished, they took Harry back to Jaimee’s nana’s and they went home to see Smooch.

The Holidays.
On Sunday, I rode a horse named Blue. He is grey with a grey and purple leather cover.
When I got the halter and lead, I walked on the lumpy surface to the pen he was in.
When I got him, I led him back to the shed, took his cover off, geared him up and rode off
down the paddock.
When I got to a jump, I made him jump it by saying, " Get up."
When he jumped it, I said,"Good boy Blue."
When I had finshed riding him, I got off and made him a feed of oats, birdseed, chaff, nuts, molasses and water.
After I had made the feed, I put on his cover and gave it to him in a big, black and grey metal horse bowl.
When he had finished eating, I led him back on the brown dirt to his pen and let him go so he could have some grass.
I was happy with what he did. I'm so proud of him.
